We’re creating an urban sanctuary at Port Macquarie’s Town Beach on a site that can never be built out. Galerie has a strong sense of place among its neighbours, with a design to capture expansive ocean views yet offer intimacy and privacy. With only 30 apartments and 6 townhouses, Galerie embodies a luxury of space, orientation and materials that will delight its owners.

The lush central garden is terraced to provide a resort-like space, including an indoor pool and an outdoor dining pavilion for relaxing and socialising. Every residence has a secondary frontage to the garden, maximising access to light and natural ventilation along with capturing splendid views.
There is a lovely rhythm and logic behind the architectural forms in the townhouse design – it’s quite sculptural. Galerie signals a new cosmopolitan approach to designing coastal living. The interior scheme takes cues from the architecture, with a strong emphasis on symmetry and a refined material palette.
The temperature-controlled indoor pool is lit from above by a huge circular window to the sky. This blue oval unites inside and out and contrasts with the rectilinear pool glazed in multi-hued green tiles. The play of colour and strong shapes delights the eye and beckons the viewer.
